An Intro to Microformats & The Power of Semantic Web Design

presented by Josh Pyles

Let’s face it—computers aren’t really that smart. At least not compared to our human minds. We can understand when someone is telling us about an event or their contact information, yet computers cannot; at least not without some help. As a result, our experiences on the web have been somewhat limited.

Microformats can change all of that. Join us as we explore the true power of the semantic web and Microformats, and leave with all you need to get started using them in your work! Bring your HTML hat, cause we’re going to be getting dirty.
